Denbo H. Montgomery, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr Montgomery is a native of Lafayette and graduated from Lafayette High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL ) where he received a B.S in Biology and Chemistry. He attended with a full academic scholarship and was a member of Kappa Alpha Order, Phi Kappa Phi and the Blue Key Honor Society.

He received his MD from Tulane University, School of Medicine. He did 2 years of General Surgery Residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans then finished his Residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Tulane. He participated in several research projects while at Tulane and was the recipient of the Owl Club Award for excellence in teaching medical students.

Dr Montgomery has been a clinical instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at LSU and served as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Audiology, Arizona School of Health Sciences. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society. Dr. Montgomery has been named as one of the Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Montgomery has served in many leadership roles in the medical community including as Chief of the Medical Staff of Lafayette General Medical Center and as a board member of Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital.

John W. Alldredge, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. John W. Alldredge is an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist (ENT) and member of Acadiana Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Lafayette. Dr. Alldredge is the only fellowship trained Sinus Specialist in Acadiana and one of the few in the entire southeastern United States. While Dr. Alldredge practices comprehensive pediatric and adult Ear, Nose, and Throat, he sub-specializes in the management of sinonasal disorders such as chronic rhinosinusitis. He is an expert in functional endoscopic sinus surgery, revision endoscopic sinus surgery, and endoscopic resection of sinus tumors, endoscopic repair of cerebrospinal fluid leaks, and endoscopic treatment of various orbital conditions such as chronic epiphora.

Throughout his training he has contributed to and authored several publications and book chapters. Dr. Alldredge is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Louisiana State Medical Society, and Lafayette Parish Medical Society. Dr. Alldredge was raised in Lafayette, LA and attended high school at the Episcopal School of Acadiana. After high school, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama where he received his B.S. in Biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Here he was an active member in multiple national honor societies including Golden Key National Honor Society, Gamma Beta Phi, Phi Kappa Phi, Elliot Society, as well as the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

He chose to continue his studies at LSU School of Medicine-New Orleans where he was elected a member of Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. He then stayed at LSU-New Orleans to complete his General Surgery internship. Dr. Alldredge eventually moved to Chapel Hill, NC to complete his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (Ear, Nose and Throat) residency at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. After residency, he pursued specialized fellowship training in the treatment and management of sinus and nasal disorders at the Sinus and Nasal Institute of Florida in St. Petersburg where he completed his Rhinology and Sinus Surgery fellowship.

Jason J. Durel, M.D.

Dr. Durel practices comprehensive Otolaryngology treating all aspects of head and neck conditions in the pediatric and adult population. He has a special interest in treating allergic disease which prompted him to complete additional training in this area. This additional training culminated with his sitting for and passing written and oral exams to attain the status of Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He has additional special interests in office-based management of sinonasal disorders.

A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Durel began his private practice in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2012. After graduating from St. Thomas More High School, he continued his education at Millsaps College where he graduated with a B.S. in Biology. He then completed medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following medical school, Dr. Durel completed his Residency in Otolaryngology at the same institution.

While in medical school, Dr. Durel served as President of the school's chapter of the American Medical Association. He is a clinical instructor at the LSUHSC- New Orleans Department of Otolaryngology where he assists Residents in their surgical training. He is the Chief of Surgery for Oil Center Surgical Plaza and also serves on the Medical Executive Committee for the same institution.
